A top-tier, employee-owned, family-first organization is looking for an experienced Production Manager.
The Production Manager will work closely with the Director of Operations.
- Supervise the timely completion of all projects, create and implement process improvements, and coordinate projects to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Achieves manufacturing results by communicating job expectations to hourly and salaried employees. Plans, monitors, and appraises production results
- They will work with all employees using coaching, counseling, discipline, and mediation skills
- Needs to be a driver, maintaining workflow by monitoring steps of the process using process monitors; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources reporting on daily results, and making corrections to achieve targets
- Assigns personnel to accomplish work results; establishes priorities; monitors progress; resolves problems; evaluates employees, and conducts orientation and training of personnel
- Responsible for the safety of all employees and ensures they know and acknowledge all safety rules, policies, and necessary PPE for each position
- Accountable for compliance with established quality policies and procedures
- Responsible for communication on all equipment and machines. Maintains a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel
Qualifications
- Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Business, or related field
- Experience in the hydraulics industry strongly preferred
- Successful track record of leading teams and executing business initiatives
- Ability to develop relationships and foster a team environment
