About the Role
The ideal candidate will take the lead on acquisitions, dispositions, financings, leasing, and joint venture transactions. You’ll work directly with clients ranging from investors and developers to institutional owners and private lenders.

What You’ll Do

  • Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, leases, and operating agreements
  • Manage due diligence, title review, and survey matters
  • Handle closings and coordinate with title companies, opposing counsel, and stakeholders
  • Advise clients on zoning, development, and real estate-related regulatory issues
  • Collaborate with partners and senior associates on complex transactions

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–7 years of commercial real estate transactional experience
  • Licensed to practice law in New York (Active & in Good Standing)
  • Strong understanding of NYC commercial real estate markets and deal dynamics
  • Experience with acquisitions, financing, leasing, and entity structuring
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a proactive mindset

Compensation & Work Expectations

  • Competitive base salary (commensurate with experience)
  • 1,200–1,400 billable hour target – designed for work-life balance
  • Flexible in-office expectations depending on experience level
