Job Description

Gpac is partnered with a growing food manufacturing company in Long Island City, NY seeking a Director of Operations to lead all operational functions including production, supply planning, warehousing, logistics, maintenance, and sanitation. This role will work closely with executive leadership to ensure operational efficiency, strong workforce management, and continuous improvement across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all operational functions including production, warehousing, logistics, maintenance, and sanitation • Manage supply and demand planning for raw materials and packaging • Ensure safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing operations • Lead and develop the operations leadership team including maintenance, production, and floor management • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment, processes, technology, and facility layout • Manage operational budgets and performance metrics • Develop and maintain operational KPIs including production output, inventory accuracy, and shipping performance • Improve warehouse structure and logistics flow to increase operational efficiency • Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for productivity improvements and operational scalability • Support recruiting, workforce planning, and employee training initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field • 7–10+ years of leadership experience within manufacturing operations • Experience managing production, warehousing, and logistics operations • Strong team leadership and workforce development experience • ERP system experience and strong data-driven decision-making ability • Conversational Spanish required
