Practice Manager – Dermatology (Multi-Location) Location: Houston, TX (On-site)

A respected, privately owned dermatology group in the Houston area is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to oversee operations across multiple clinic locations. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys developing teams, and is passionate about building efficient, patient-centered operations.

Role Overview

The Practice Manager will lead day-to-day operations across assigned clinic locations, working closely with executive leadership and site-level managers. This individual will drive operational consistency, support staff performance, and ensure smooth clinic operations that allow providers to focus on delivering excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and support staff across multiple clinic locations

  • Partner with leadership on recruiting, onboarding, training, and staff development

  • Create and manage staffing schedules to meet clinic needs

  • Conduct performance evaluations and support employee growth

  • Standardize workflows and improve operational efficiency

  • Identify and resolve operational issues proactively

  • Oversee administrative functions, including mail processing and bank deposits

  • Develop templates, procedures, and best practices

  • Travel between nearby clinic locations as needed

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of management experience, ideally in a multi-site environment

  • Proven people leadership and team development skills

  • Experience managing office operations and administrative workflows

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization abilities

  • Comfortable working fully on-site

  • Background in healthcare, dermatology, dental, or professional services preferred

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $75,000–$85,000 annually
