An AM 200 firm is seeking a Senior Security Defense Attorney to serve as the primary Northern California point of contact for one of the largest and most visible corporate security services companies in the United States.

This is a high-level, client-facing leadership role offering the opportunity to manage complex, high-exposure litigation while serving as a strategic advisor to a marquee national client.

Position Overview

This role is structured around:

  • Direct ownership of complex, high-stakes litigation

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to a single, high-profile client

  • Strategic leadership on matters involving significant reputational and financial risk

  • Potential oversight and coordination of attorneys and teams nationwide

Practice Focus

  • Premises liability

  • Negligent security

  • General liability

Qualifications

  • Active California Bar admission

  • 8+ years of litigation experience

  • Meaningful second-chair jury trial experience in high-exposure matters (first-chair experience welcomed)

  • Experience handling high-profile or media-sensitive matters preferred

  • Demonstrated leadership, case ownership, and/or project management experience

  • Ability to serve in a client-facing, strategic advisory capacity

Work Environment

  • Flexible structure: Remote, hybrid, or in-office

  • Occasional in-person meetings in the firm’s downtown San Francisco office
