Full-Charge Bookkeeper – Custom Home Builder

We are partnered with a reputable custom home builder known for delivering high-quality, detail-driven residential projects. As the company continues to grow, they are looking to bring on a Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting operations and support the financial health of the business.

About the Role:

The Full-Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for handling the company’s full-cycle accounting, with a strong focus on job costing and construction-related financial tracking. This role is critical to ensuring accurate financial reporting across multiple custom home projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting including A/P, A/R, payroll, and general ledger

• Perform job costing and track budgets for multiple custom home projects

• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts

• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports

• Manage draw schedules and lien waivers

Qualifications:

• 3–7+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience (construction preferred)

• Experience with job costing and WIP reporting

• Familiarity with construction billing (progress billing, draws, etc.)

• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks (Desktop)

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
