An energy-focused law firm is seeking an experienced oil and gas litigator in Houston to lead disputes for operators and other energy-industry clients and grow a practice of their own.
Responsibilities
- Lead oil and gas and energy litigation from pleadings through trial or resolution
- Handle title, lease, royalty, and operational disputes
- Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and try cases
- Develop client relationships and bring in new matters
Requirements
- Senior associate, of counsel, or partner-level litigation experience, ideally in oil and gas or energy
- J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Texas
- Courtroom and trial experience
- Portable book of business preferred

Full-time, based in Houston.
