A well-established, growth-oriented public accounting firm in the Cleveland market is seeking a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager to step into a key leadership role within its tax practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and manage a variety of tax returns (corporate, partnership, individual, and other entities)
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing tax planning and strategic guidance
  • Lead and manage client engagements from start to finish
  • Mentor, train, and develop staff and senior team members
  • Collaborate with leadership on practice growth and client expansion
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains

Qualifications

  • CPA preferred (or actively pursuing)
  • 5+ years of experience in public accounting
  • Strong background in tax compliance, review, and advisory
  • Proven experience managing engagements and leading teams
  • Strong communication skills with a client-focused mindset
  • Interest in long-term growth and leadership within a firm
