Job Overview:

We are seeking a strategic National Sales Director to join our vertically integrated specialty coffee company. This role requires an entrepreneurial, performance-driven leader who can nurture current relationships, build new, and scale sales in specialty segments including foodservice distributors, high-end hospitality, and national retail accounts. The ideal candidate will leverage our unique vertically integrated model—from coffee roasting and packaging to distribution and service—to expand our footprint while maintaining our hospitality-first mindset and commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development: Drive national account growth and business development across foodservice, hospitality, and specialty retail segments
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strategic relationships with distributors like Baldor, US Foods, and key accounts including Michelin-starred restaurants, high-end hotels, and national retailers
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to expand market presence in specialty coffee segments
Client Engagement: Conduct extensive in-person client meetings and visits to build strong business relationships
Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new opportunities in foodservice distribution, leveraging coffee equipment as a savings solution for clients
Revenue Growth: Drive company revenue growth to support expansion into larger retail partnerships
Account Management: Oversee national accounts while developing new business opportunities
Partnership Development: Work with food service distributors and specialty grocers to expand distribution channels
Brand Building: Represent the company's quality, sustainability, and innovation values in all client interactions
Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and growth opportunities

Qualifications:

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in liquor/wine distribution, hospitality, or foodservice industry
Proven track record in specialty retail, distribution, and high-end service client management
Strong understanding of foodservice distribution channels and specialty grocery operations
Established industry connections and relationships, particularly in alcohol/beverage sales sectors
Experience working with high-end clientele including restaurants, hotels, and premium retailers
Entrepreneurial mindset with proven ability to scale sales operations Strategic thinking capabilities with hands-on execution skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: $105,000 - $120,000
Commission: NET, percentage-based commission structure, $300k target
Travel: Visit with key clients and fully supported by company.
