Construction Litigation Associate Attorney | Fort Lauderdale, FL

A well-established and growing South Florida law firm is seeking a Construction Litigation Associate Attorney with 2+ years of experience to join its Fort Lauderdale office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to build a strong foundation in construction law while working alongside experienced practitioners on complex and high-value matters.

The firm represents developers, contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals across a wide range of construction-related disputes, offering hands-on experience and meaningful responsibility early on.

What You’ll Do

  • Handle construction litigation matters from inception through resolution
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery; participate in depositions, hearings, and mediations
  • Assist with trial preparation and attend trial as needed
  • Work on matters involving construction defects, contract disputes, delays, and related claims
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client communication

What We’re Looking For

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active Florida Bar membership in good standing
  • 2+ years of litigation experience (construction experience preferred, but not required)
  • Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload in a fast-paced environment
