Job Title: Workers’ Compensation Attorney

Location: Lafayette, IN (Hybrid)

Position Overview: We are seeking a Workers’ Compensation Attorney with 2+ years of experience to join a growing and well-established practice in Lafayette, Indiana. This is a hybrid opportunity offering strong professional growth, steady case flow, and long-term stability. The firm is open to both defense attorneys and plaintiff attorneys interested in transitioning to defense work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of workers’ compensation matters from inception through resolution

• Represent employers, carriers, or insured clients in hearings, depositions, and mediations

• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs

• Provide strategic case analysis and risk assessment

• Maintain strong client communication and reporting

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of workers’ compensation experience (plaintiff or defense)

• Licensed to practice law in Indiana (required)

• Illinois licensure is a plus

• Strong litigation, negotiation, and analytical skills

• Ability to manage caseload independently
