Job Description

A respected surgical practice specializing in gender-affirming surgery is actively seeking an experienced Surgical Assistant / Advanced Practice Provider to join their team. This is an immediate-need position and will be filled as soon as the right clinical skillset and personality match is identified.

Ideal Background The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of hands-on experience in one or more of the following:

  • Gender-affirming surgery

  • Plastic surgery

  • General surgery

This role is best suited for a clinically confident, adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment and values compassionate, patient-centered care.

Licensure Requirements Candidates must hold one of the following and an active California license:

  • PANCE

  • NBSTSA

  • NCCSA

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in surgical procedures and perioperative patient care

  • Support pre-operative and post-operative clinical workflows

  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all safety protocols

  • Collaborate closely with the surgical and clinical team

  • Contribute to a respectful, organized, and high-functioning clinical environment

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary starting at $150,000 (higher for more experienced candidates)
