Tax Manager – Hybrid | Greenwood Village, CO (DTC)

The Role
- ✅ Full-time, hybrid position based in Greenwood Village, CO
- ✅ Own preparation and review of complex tax returns
- ✅ Lead client meetings and be the trusted advisor (not just the reviewer)
- ✅ Manage, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals
- ✅ Drive business development and client growth
- ✅ Clear path to Partner for the right person — yes, actually
What You’ll Do
- ✅ Prepare and review complex individual and business tax returns, including multi-state
- ✅ Handle tax planning and advisory work (not just compliance)
- ✅ Prepare and review trust and estate tax returns
- ✅ Lead teams, review work, and raise the bar firm-wide
- ✅ Build long-term client relationships (people stay because of you)
- ✅ Continue leveling up through training, exposure to new issues, and real-world problem solving
What You Bring
- ✅ 7+ years of tax experience with complex individual and business returns
- ✅ Strong engagement management and operational chops
- ✅ CPA or EA required (Master’s in Tax = bonus points)
- ✅ Proven people leader — personable, confident, respected
- ✅ Can explain complex tax rules without sounding like a textbook
- ✅ High integrity, strong leadership presence, zero drama
Compensation & Benefits
- 💰 Salary: $125,000 – $165,000 (based on experience)
