Senior Superintendent – Residential Construction

A well-established residential construction company is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on large and complex residential construction projects. This role is ideal for a construction leader with extensive experience managing job sites, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The Senior Superintendent will play a key leadership role in overseeing job site teams, mentoring junior superintendents, and ensuring the successful execution of residential construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage on-site construction activities for residential building projects
• Oversee multiple projects or large-scale developments simultaneously
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
• Ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
• Enforce job site safety standards and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure construction standards are met
• Mentor and guide Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents
• Communicate project progress and issues with Project Managers and executive leadership
• Resolve job site challenges and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and clients

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in residential construction field supervision
• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent
• Proven ability to manage large or complex residential construction projects
• Strong leadership and job site management skills
• Deep knowledge of construction scheduling, sequencing, and trade coordination
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Stable work history in residential or custom home construction

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $120,000 – $165,000 per year
