A leading regional health organization is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Heart & Vascular Intensive Care Unit. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work with advanced cardiac and critical-care patients in a collaborative, high-acuity environment where clinical excellence and compassion meet.
As an RN in the Heart & Vascular ICU, you’ll deliver expert nursing care to a diverse caseload of critically ill cardiac and vascular patients. You’ll coordinate treatment plans, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and advocate for patients and families to ensure optimal outcomes and exceptional quality of care.
Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care for critically ill cardiovascular patients
Assess, monitor, and document patient condition and responses to interventions
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and allied professionals to develop and adjust individualized care plans
Support patients and families with clear communication, empathy, and education
Maintain compliance with all nursing standards, institutional policies, and state regulations
Current RN license (State of Ohio or compact state eligibility)
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
Minimum 1 year of recent ICU or Emergency Department nursing experience
Strong critical-thinking, multitasking, and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Basic computer proficiency
