Insurance Coverage Attorney Multi-State Law Firm | Hybrid – Work From Home Fridays

A well-established multi-state law firm with an extensive insurance coverage practice is seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney to join the team. This firm represents and advises clients across a wide array of commercial and personal insurance lines, and handles everything from coverage analysis and opinion work to complex litigation when the situation demands it.

The Practice

This attorney will work alongside a sophisticated team that has deep experience analyzing and litigating the rights and obligations of parties across all major lines of insurance, including:

• General Liability
• Casualty and Property
• Directors & Officers' Liability
• Errors & Omissions
• Public Sector
• Commercial and Personal Motor Vehicle
• Professional Liability
• Reinsurance

What You'll Do

• Analyze insurance policies and provide coverage opinions across multiple lines
• Advise clients on their rights and obligations under applicable policies
• Draft coverage position letters, reservation of rights letters, and declination letters
• Handle coverage litigation from inception through resolution
• Research complex and emerging coverage issues across multiple jurisdictions
• Collaborate with colleagues firm-wide on multi-state matters

What We're Looking For

• Active license in good standing in Texas; multi-state licensure a plus
• Meaningful experience in insurance coverage, whether on the carrier, policyholder, or firm side
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload independently and meet deadlines
• A collaborative mindset and professional demeanor
