We’re looking for a Litigation Attorney with 3+ years of civil litigation experience, ideally with exposure to employment and business law, who’s ready to take ownership of cases and grow with a team that values both excellent work and a healthy, engaging culture.
If you enjoy building strategy, writing strong arguments, and guiding cases from intake through trial, you’ll fit right in. We’re looking for someone who is confident working independently, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is motivated to deliver exceptional results for clients.
Just as important, we want someone who brings curiosity, personality, and perspective to the team. We believe great legal work happens when talented people feel invested in what they’re building. Our goal isn’t just to produce outstanding legal outcomes—it’s to create a team where people feel fulfilled by the work they do.
If you’re someone who sees yourself as more than just an attorney and wants to help clients find thoughtful, creative solutions—not cookie-cutter answers—we’d love to meet you.
Your day-to-day work will include a mix of litigation, strategy, and client advising, such as:
Managing civil litigation matters from intake through resolution or trial
Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents
Conducting legal research and developing case strategies
Representing clients in court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
Advising businesses on legal risks, compliance, and dispute resolution
Assisting companies with business structure, governance, policies, and procedures
Negotiating contracts, transactions, and settlements, including matters involving mergers and acquisitions
Managing multiple matters simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Identifying potential legal issues and helping clients proactively address them
Active admission to the California State Bar
3+ years of civil litigation experience
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
Ability to independently manage a caseload and develop litigation strategy
Excellent communication and client-relationship skills
Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
A self-starter mindset with strong ownership and follow-through
Someone who is curious, adaptable, and eager to tackle new challenges
Maintain a 1,700 annual billable hour target
Deliver high-quality work product and responsive client service
Contribute to a collaborative team environment while managing an independent caseload
We’re building something special: a team that values great legal work, collaboration, and professional fulfillment. We want our clients to be thrilled with the results we deliver—and our attorneys to feel proud, challenged, and energized by the work they do.
If you’re ready to hit the ground running and grow with a team that values both excellence and balance, I'd love to hear from you.
If you’re considering a change, resumes and inquiries will be handled confidentially. You may submit your resume to Brianna.Schlick@gogpac.com or call/text 605-705-3958. You can also connect via LinkedIn to learn more.
