Paralegal — Personal Injury Plaintiff's Personal Injury Law Firm | In-Person | Competitive Salary + Benefits

About the Role

A busy plaintiff's personal injury practice is seeking an experienced paralegal to serve as the right hand to a trial attorney. This is a full-time, in-person position five days a week. Responsibilities

• Own the attorney's calendar completely — missing a court-ordered deadline is not an option
• Draft pleadings, discovery requests, and responses
• Handle all electronic court filings
• Coordinate deposition schedules
• Manage electronic case files
• Assist with all aspects of trial preparation and attend trial, including out-of-town travel
• Book all travel arrangements including flights, hotels, and rental cars
• Communicate with clients regularly, primarily by telephone
• Maintain clear and professional written correspondence on behalf of the firm

Qualifications

• 5+ years of paralegal experience in plaintiff's personal injury
• Experience with trial preparation and trial experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of electronic court filing systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills and attention to detail
• A team player who comes to work, ready to perform
