Job Description

A highly regarded financial services law firm is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Associate Attorney to join its growing team in Delaware. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse client base and gain exposure to sophisticated bankruptcy and restructuring matters, including complex Chapter 11 reorganizations.

The firm offers a collaborative environment, strong mentorship, and the opportunity to work alongside experienced attorneys on high-level bankruptcy matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent creditors in bankruptcy matters, including complex Chapter 11 business reorganizations
  • Assist senior attorneys with managing bankruptcy case files and strategy
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on bankruptcy and restructuring issues
  • Prepare and file bankruptcy petitions, schedules of assets and liabilities, financial disclosures, motions, and other court filings
  • Support litigation strategy and court proceedings related to bankruptcy matters
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients and internal legal teams

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of bankruptcy experience, with a focus on representing creditors
  • Experience working on complex Chapter 11 reorganizations
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Active bar admission in Delaware required
