Job Description

Field Service Technician – Pump Systems

Location: Missouri / Illinois
Schedule: Full-time

Overview

A long-established pump sales and service company is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair pump systems for industrial and municipal customers. This is a hands-on, field-based role.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair pumps, motors, valves, and related equipment

  • Perform on-site troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues

  • Install new equipment and support system upgrades

  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency service

  • Complete service documentation and communicate with customers

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of pump service or industrial mechanical experience

  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills

  • Basic electrical knowledge (motors, controls; VFDs a plus)

  • Ability to work independently and travel regionally

  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred

  • Municipal or industrial pump experience

  • Multi-manufacturer pump knowledge
