Job Title: Custom Home Estimator
About the Company We are partnering with a premier custom home builder known for delivering high-end residential projects with exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail. Their homes range from luxury custom residences to large-scale estates, and they are seeking a Custom Home Estimator to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed construction cost estimates for custom residential projects
Perform quantity takeoffs from plans, specifications, and conceptual drawings
Solicit bids from subcontractors and suppliers and evaluate proposals
Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors
Analyze plans and specifications to identify potential cost impacts
Assist with value engineering while maintaining project quality and design intent
Collaborate with project managers and leadership during preconstruction and budgeting phases
Qualifications
3+ years of estimating experience in residential or custom home construction
Experience estimating luxury or high-end custom homes preferred
Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and pricing
Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings
Experience with estimating software and takeoff tools
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
