A well established civil litigation law firm is seeking a Georgia licensed attorney with 3+ years insurance defense or insurance coverage experience. The firm is seeking an individual who is willing to learn and has the ability to work independently and as a team. This is a fast-paced work envirnment that requires the ability to multitask.
Job Responsibilities:
Review newly assigned files to develop strategic action plans, budgets, and case recommendations.
Determine pleading requirements and assign appropriate tasks to paralegals.
Draft and respond to discovery, overseeing all aspects of document production.
Participate in depositions, hearings, and other discovery proceedings, and provide detailed summaries and reports.
Negotiate settlements, obtain necessary authority, and prepare cases for trial when required.
Maintain consistent communication and collaboration with paralegals and legal support staff.
