Miscellaneous Metals Detailer
We are seeking an experienced Misc Metals Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience detailing miscellaneous steel components such as stairs, railings, ladders, and platforms.
Responsibilities:
Create detailed fabrication and erection drawings for miscellaneous metals projects
Interpret architectural and structural drawings to produce accurate shop drawings
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and fabricators to ensure design intent and constructability
Review and check drawings for accuracy and compliance with project specifications
Manage revisions, RFIs, and updates throughout the detailing process
Qualifications:
3–5 years of detailing experience in miscellaneous metals (stairs, railings, handrails, etc.)
Proficiency in SDS2 or Advance Steel software
Strong understanding of steel fabrication and installation practices
Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
