Maintenance Technician – Hazleton, PA

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to support a fast-paced production and warehouse environment. This role is responsible for maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and performing preventive maintenance to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Shift Options:
2nd Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
3rd Shift: 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Maintain conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and material handling equipment
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance work orders
• Support maintenance and engineering projects to improve equipment performance
• Work closely with production teams to reduce downtime and improve efficiency
• Perform general building maintenance, including light electrical work
• Assist with equipment upgrades and facility improvements

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environments
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with conveyors, motors, and production equipment
• Knowledge of hand and power tools
• Ability to read and follow maintenance plans and schedules
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred:

• Experience with PLCs or automated systems
• Background in refrigerated or food-related environments
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs
