Experienced Plumbing Project Manager
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Job Type: Full-Time
We are seeking an Experienced Plumbing Project Manager to oversee commercial and/or residential plumbing projects from pre-construction through closeout. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects, teams, schedules, and budgets while maintaining strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage plumbing construction projects from kickoff to completion
- Coordinate with clients, general contractors, field supervisors, vendors, and subcontractors
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and manpower planning
- Review drawings, specifications, submittals, and change orders
- Track project costs, billing, and forecasting
- Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and code requirements
- Attend project meetings and provide progress updates
- Resolve project issues proactively to maintain timelines and profitability
- Support estimating and pre-construction efforts as needed
Qualifications
- 5+ years of plumbing project management experience
- Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and construction practices
- Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
- Journeyman or Master Plumbing License (preferred but not required)
- Experience with healthcare, industrial, multi-family, or large commercial projects
- Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, Viewpoint, or similar software
