Job Description

A national leader in the industrial/commercial construction industry is seeking Traveling Project Managers with Data Center experience. These positions will oversee large-scale projects across the nation from conception through closeout. A successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing budgets, schedules, client relationships, and project teams to successful completion. The right individual will thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and take pride in delivering world-class results.

This position includes a comprehensive total rewards package featuring a vehicle allowance, flexible travel package, per diem based on project location, gas card, tablet, and cell phone.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead all phases of project management, from preconstruction to turnover
  • Partner closely with field leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
  • Develop, maintain, and manage project budgets, schedules, and forecasts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Review and interpret contracts, drawings, and specifications
  • Oversee procurement and change management processes
  • Provide clear communication and reporting to stakeholders
  • Mentor and support assistant project managers and project engineers

Basic Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a Project Manager role within commercial or industrial construction
  • Proven experience managing projects valued at $30 million+
  • Data center or mission-critical project experience required
  • Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, and construction means and methods
  • Ability to travel nationwide as required
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Experience with Procore, Primavera P6, or other project management/scheduling software
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
