Product Development Specialist – Food Innovation & Regulatory
📍 Long Island, NY Area | Full-Time | $100K–$115K
Join a fast-growing food manufacturing team as a Product Development & Regulatory Specialist! You’ll drive new product development, reformulation, and labeling compliance, working cross-functionally with R&D, QA, Operations, and Supply Chain. Ensure all products meet FDA/USDA regulations while bringing innovative ideas to life.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and maintain product formulas and specifications
Review labels, nutrition facts, and allergen info for compliance
Conduct nutritional analysis and support new product launches
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams on ingredient compliance
Stay updated on regulatory trends and provide guidance to staff
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Food Science, Nutrition, or related field
2+ years in food product development, regulatory, or labeling
Strong FDA/USDA labeling knowledge and nutritional analysis skills
Detail-oriented, organized, and team-focused
