Restoration Sales Representative

Department: Sales
Reports To: Sales Manager / General Manager
Industry: Restoration (Water, Fire, Mold, Storm, Mitigation)


Position Summary

The Restoration Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and maintaining referral relationships, securing new business opportunities, and promoting restoration and mitigation services within the assigned territory. This role focuses heavily on business development, relationship management, and brand visibility within the insurance, property management, and commercial sectors.


Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Develop and maintain referral partnerships with insurance agents, adjusters, property managers, plumbers, HVAC companies, and commercial property owners
  • Identify and pursue new commercial and residential restoration opportunities
  • Conduct regular sales calls, drop-ins, and scheduled meetings within assigned territory
  • Attend networking events, association meetings, and community functions

Account Management

  • Maintain ongoing relationships with key accounts to ensure repeat and referral business
  • Provide excellent follow-up and communication throughout projects
  • Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth project handoffs

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue targets
  • Track leads, opportunities, and pipeline activity within CRM
  • Assist in estimating and scope reviews when applicable
  • Develop strategic plans for territory growth

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sales experience (restoration, construction, or service-based industry preferred)
  • Knowledge of water, fire, mold, and mitigation services preferred
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills
  • Self-motivated with a hunter mentality
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within territory

Preferred (Not Required):

  • Experience working with insurance carriers or adjusters
  • IICRC certifications or restoration industry exposure

  • Base salary + commission (uncapped earning potential)
