Position Overview

This is a full-time, on-site Litigation Attorney role based in El Segundo, CA. The attorney will handle a wide range of litigation responsibilities including drafting and arguing motions, managing discovery, conducting depositions, preparing for trial, and appearing in court. The role requires strong legal analysis, excellent advocacy skills, and the ability to collaborate closely with a team of experienced litigators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft legal pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents

  • Prepare and argue motions in court

  • Conduct and defend depositions

  • Manage discovery and case strategy

  • Prepare cases for trial and participate in trial proceedings

  • Appear in state and federal courts

  • Work collaboratively with the litigation team to develop case strategy

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of civil litigation experience

  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:

    • Commercial/business disputes

    • Professional liability

    • Employment law

    • Personal injury

  • Strong experience drafting and arguing motions

  • Familiarity with California state and federal court procedures

  • Experience with depositions and trial preparation

  • Excellent written and oral advocacy skills

  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities

  • Juris Doctor (JD) and active member of the California Bar

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $150,000 – $300,000 annually (depending on experience)
