A well-established and growing law firm in the St. Louis area is seeking a talented Business Law Attorney with 4–8 years of experience to join its dynamic practice. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with business clients ranging from startups to established companies across a variety of industries. The ideal candidate enjoys client interaction, strategic problem solving, and managing matters from inception through completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise clients on general business and corporate matters
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of business agreements, including operating agreements, shareholder agreements, partnership agreements, and commercial contracts
Assist with entity formation, governance, restructuring, and dissolution matters
Support mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, transaction structuring, and document preparation
Counsel clients on regulatory compliance and risk management strategies
Collaborate with internal teams and maintain strong client relationships
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing with the Missouri Bar (or ability to waive in)
4–8 years of experience practicing business, corporate, or transactional law
Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
Excellent communication and client relationship abilities
Ability to manage multiple matters independently while working collaboratively with a team
