Job Description

gpac is seeking an 3rd Shift Sanitation Manager in West Seneca, NY for a leading food manufacturer. This position offers the opportunity to oversee all production and sanitation operations, lead a diverse team, and drive key metrics for safety, quality, yield, and efficiency.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage all production and sanitation operations on 3rd shift
  • Set production schedules, oversee machine operation, and coordinate material flow
  • Monitor and improve KPIs for safety, quality, yield, and efficiency
  • Lead, coach, and develop a diverse team of hourly associates
  • Maintain compliance with GMP, HACCP, OSHA, USDA, and FDA standards
  • Collaborate with Sanitation, Maintenance, HR, and Quality teams
  • Recommend cost-saving and waste-reduction improvements
  • Utilize systems like ShopLogix and Safety Chain to manage data and reporting
  • Handle timekeeping, scheduling, and daily shift reporting

What You Bring:

  • 3–5 years of supervisory/management experience in food manufacturing
  • High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, OSHA, food labeling, and regulatory standards
  • Proficiency in production management tools and reporting systems
  • Experience with USDA, FDA, NYS Organic standards a plus
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced food production facility.
  • Must be comfortable in cold, wet, and high-volume environments.
  • Involves standing, walking, and overseeing multiple departments.

What's In It For You:

  • Base – Up to 85-95K Base Target
  • Bonus – Target 10% range varies based on salary (Based on profitability target)
  • Vacation – 3 Weeks’ Vacation

  • 401k – 50% on first 4% of the base
