Gpac is partnering with a respected engineering firm to find a Roadway Design Engineer in Norcross, GA. You'll support transportation projects including roadway widening, intersection improvements, and new alignments for public and private clients. You'll develop plans, profiles, cross sections, and quantities, and work with project managers and agency reviewers to deliver projects from concept through construction. This is an excellent opportunity to build your transportation career on meaningful infrastructure work.
Responsibilities:
- Develop roadway plans, profiles, typical sections, and cross sections
- Prepare signing, striping, staging, and drainage plans
- Calculate quantities and assist with cost estimates
- Coordinate with project managers, surveyors, and agency reviewers
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- 2-5 years of roadway or transportation design experience
- EIT certification preferred
- Proficiency with MicroStation/OpenRoads or Civil 3D
- Familiarity with GDOT standards is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
