Job Description

We’re seeking a skilled Construction Foreman to lead field operations on heavy civil construction projects. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record supervising crews in grading, excavation, underground utilities, and concrete or roadway work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate field crews to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and to project specifications

  • Plan daily activities, allocate labor and equipment, and ensure schedules are met

  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications

  • Communicate effectively with Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors

  • Monitor quality control and enforce safety standards on-site

  • Track materials, equipment, and daily progress reports

  • Troubleshoot field issues and provide practical, cost-effective solutions

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction, including at least 2 years in a foreman or supervisory role

  • Strong knowledge of earthwork, grading, utilities, and/or concrete structures

  • Ability to lead and motivate field crews while maintaining productivity and morale

  • Understanding of construction plans, specifications, and job costing

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
