Quality Control Inspector

A highly respected mechanical construction company is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to help uphold the highest fabrication standards in the industry. This is a critical role ensuring accuracy, compliance, and workmanship from drawings to final product.


What You’ll Do

• Interpret material and fabrication requirements from design drawings, contract specifications, and shop detail drawings
• Inspect fabrication processes including cutting, burning, shearing, drilling, assembly, bolting, welding, cleaning, and painting
• Perform detailed inspections using gauges, meters, calipers, and other measuring tools
• Document and report findings using Microsoft Office
• Ensure compliance with all welding and fabrication quality standards


What You Bring

3+ years of quality control experience in mechanical construction or fabrication
• Strong ability to read and interpret design drawings and specifications
• Working knowledge of fabrication methods and inspection procedures
• Proficiency with measuring instruments (gauges, meters, calipers, etc.)
• Microsoft Office competency for reporting and documentation
Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) through the American Welding Society (required)
• Ability to pass annual visual acuity exam (including color differentiation)
