gpac is partnered with a Mechanical Contractor that is looking to add a Direcotr of Preconstruction to their team.  

Director of Preconstruction Responsibilities:

• Leading project kickoff activities post-award.
• Collaborating with estimating to understand the scope and budget of a project.
• Developing and managing the baseline preconstruction cost forecast.Defining and maintaining team responsibilities and decision matrices to clarify roles among the project teams.
• Defining and coordinating the preconstruction deliverables package, including: Schedule, design documents, submittals, BIM models, installation drawings, hanger maps, material schedules, and Trimble points.
• Building and maintaining a preconstruction schedule aligned with construction timelines.
• Aligning with the Construction Project Managers to coordinate field and fabrication timelines.

Director of Preconstruction Primary Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Mechanical Project Manager role or a related field.
• Strong understanding of construction terminology, processes, and industry best practices.
• Hands-on experience with REVIT, AutoCAD, and Navisworks is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, and Planner.
• Self-driven with excellent time management and organizational skills.
