FIELD ENGINEER – HEAVY CIVIL CONSTRUCTION

Are you a hard-working Field Engineer with a background in heavy civil projects? If so, our client is looking for you to join their team. The Field Engineer will be responsible for assisting with the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of construction projects.  

Responsibilities:

  • Handle the distribution and coordination of all RFIs, Submittals and Change Orders
  • Daily project paperwork
  • Maintaining schedule and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain workflow and strong relations with subs
  • Maintain and organize field documents (Drawings, specifications, etc )
  • Coordinate subcontractors
  • Assure site superintendents maintain clean and safe sites

Qualifications:

  • Handle the distribution and coordination of all RFIs, Submittals and Change Orders
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related area of study preferred
  • 1-5 years of heavy civil or marine construction experience
  • Motivated to learn and advance at a fast pace
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to travel
