Lending Associate II
Location: Southeastern Illinois (On-site)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Compensation: $20.16 – $25.00 per hour + Annual Bonus
A well-established, community-focused financial institution is seeking a Lending Associate II to join their Risk Management team. This is a critical, full-time operations role supporting the loan lifecycle—from documentation and compliance to collateral review and internal reporting.
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented banking professional who thrives behind the scenes ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and process efficiency in a fast-paced lending environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare loan documents and ensure alignment with approved terms and internal policies
Review entity documents (LLC, S-Corp, C-Corp, etc.) to validate signing authority
Coordinate third-party services including appraisals, title work, and credit reports
Interpret title policies and resolve exceptions to secure lien positions
Support adherence to lending regulations (TILA, RESPA, TRID, HMDA, ECOA, etc.)
Monitor and help resolve technical exceptions within the loan portfolio
Maintain and organize loan files, financials, and supporting documentation
Assist loan officers with scheduling, client communication, and general support
Qualifications:
2–3 years of experience in loan operations, documentation, credit audit, or lending support
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred
Understanding of commercial and consumer loan documentation and collateral requirements
Familiarity with credit and compliance processes including UCC filings and titling
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word; experience with bank systems a plus
