Job Description

A well-known family owned and people first Agronomy company in the area is looking to add an Experienced PCA CCA Sales Agronomist to their team. A competitive base salary, commissions, company vehicle, benefits package, and morewill be offered to the right individual.

Sales Agronomist Responsibilities:

  • Make fertilizer, chemical rand seed ecommendations to growers and farmers
  • Work alongside other agronomists to carry out daily responsibilities
  • Facilitate positive long-term relationships with customers to create and promote long term repeat business
  • Prepare sales presentations, contracts and proposals to ensure successful transactions
  • Forecast supply requirements buy month and annual basis
  • Perform a variety of agronomic duties independently
  • Keep up to date on all agronomy services and technology, including seed, precision farming technology, finance and marketing tools

Sales Agronomist Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of agronomy related experience 
  • A degree in Agronomy/Agriculture preferred or equivalent experience
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with a team
  • Must have a PCA license and be CCA Certified
  • Have an established book of business or strong grower/farmer relationships
  • All candidates must currently reside in the region a have a valid drivers license
