Plaintiff’s Litigation Attorney – Complex Injury & Wrongful Death
I am working directly with leadership at a well-established plaintiff-side litigation firm seeking an experienced Plaintiff’s Litigation Attorney to join its Atlanta office. This opportunity focuses on complex personal injury, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and other high-exposure liability matters. While catastrophic injury experience is preferred, the firm is open to attorneys with strong civil litigation backgrounds, including defense-side experience, who are interested in transitioning to plaintiff work. The firm provides a structured support system that allows attorneys to focus on litigation strategy, client advocacy, case development, depositions, hearings, mediation, and trial preparation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Plaintiff’s Litigation Attorney who wants meaningful litigation responsibility, sophisticated plaintiff-side work, and long-term growth within a well-resourced litigation environment. Compensation is market-competitive and commensurate with experience, with a generous performance-based bonus structure.
What We Need
5+ years of experience in personal injury litigation, preferably with exposure to catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and/or complex liability matters (catastrophic injury experience preferred but not required)
Experience managing cases from lawsuit filing through resolution, with a focus on active litigation
Courtroom experience, including arguing hearings and handling key litigation events
Experience taking and defending expert depositions, including medical experts, economists, liability experts, and industry specialists
Strong understanding of liability issues involving catastrophic injury claims, commercial defendants, and multi-party litigation
Ability to manage a litigation docket, typically 30–55 cases depending on complexity
Comfort working in a structured, metrics-driven environment with accountability
Demonstrated stability in work history and ability to operate within a team-based system
Plaintiff-side experience is ideal; candidates with strong civil defense backgrounds (including high-exposure injury or commercial auto) are encouraged to apply
Trial experience or meaningful second-chair experience strongly preferred
Experience handling high-exposure injury matters is highly valued
Bilingual Spanish/English preferred, but not required
What You’ll Get
Competitive compensation based on experience
Generous performance-based bonus structure
Hybrid schedule
Structured support from litigation assistants, scheduling paralegals, and litigation paralegals handling substantive drafting
Dedicated trial support, including second-chair support, IT support, and case-specific technical resources
Access to internal medical teams, client support services, and specialized litigation resources
Opportunity to focus on high-value catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases
One-year structured training program with ongoing professional development and a clear path to leadership, including managing attorney opportunities and team oversight
Professional, organized, and collaborative team environment
