Foreclosure Associate – New York, NY
Location: New York City
A reputable law firm is seeking a Foreclosure Associate to join its New York City office. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of foreclosure experience and be licensed in both New York and New Jersey. This is a great opportunity to join a firm with a strong real estate litigation practice and work on a high-volume caseload in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage foreclosure cases from inception through resolution
Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and mediations
Collaborate with clients, title companies, and other parties involved in foreclosure matters
Ensure compliance with relevant state and federal laws throughout the foreclosure process
Qualifications & Skills
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active Bar membership in both New York and New Jersey
Minimum of 2 years of foreclosure experience
Strong litigation, case management, and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
