Solicitor - Real Estate, Corporate and/or Estate Planning (2+ Years Call)

A respected full-service law firm in Kelowna is seeking a solicitor with 2+ years of experience to join its growing team. Open to candidates with any solicitor experience that are willing to practice in real estate as part of their practice area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer who is confident handling residential real estate transactions independently and is interested in gradually expanding into corporate and estate planning work within a collaborative and mentorship-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage residential real estate transactions from start to finish
• Communicate professionally and effectively with clients throughout transactions
• Collaborate with lawyers and support staff to ensure efficient file progression
• Assist senior solicitors on more complex corporate and estate planning matters
• Develop skills in additional solicitor-side practice areas over time
• Participate in networking and community involvement initiatives
• Maintain strong organization and responsiveness within a busy practice

Ideal Candidate

• 2+ years of residential real estate experience
• Ability to independently manage files with confidence and attention to detail
• Strong client service and communication skills
• Interest in expanding into corporate and/or estate planning work
• Organized, responsive, and team-oriented approach
• Professionalism and reliability in all interactions

Compensation

Salary range: $90,000–$135,000, depending on experience and year of call, plus a contractual bonus structure of 35% of collections exceeding 2.95x salary.
