Construction Foreman
Location: Sioux Falls, SD
A well-established framing contractor with a strong presence in the Sioux Falls area is seeking an experienced Foreman to lead crews on residential and light commercial projects. Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day framing operations and oversee all field activities
Lead, motivate, and direct framing crews to meet project schedules and quality standards
Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and other trades to keep projects moving
Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA standards
Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
Conduct regular site inspections and maintain quality control
Track labor hours, materials, and progress, and report updates to management
Train and mentor crew members, fostering a culture of accountability and professionalism
Requirements:
2+ years of experience as a Foreman or Lead Carpenter in residential or light commercial framing
Strong understanding of framing methods, building codes, and safety procedures
Proven ability to manage schedules, crews, and project resources
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to read blueprints and operate standard construction tools and equipment
OSHA safety training preferred
