Construction Foreman 
Location: Sioux Falls, SD

A well-established framing contractor with a strong presence in the Sioux Falls area is seeking an experienced Foreman to lead crews on residential and light commercial projects. Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day framing operations and oversee all field activities

  • Lead, motivate, and direct framing crews to meet project schedules and quality standards

  • Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and other trades to keep projects moving

  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA standards

  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications

  • Conduct regular site inspections and maintain quality control

  • Track labor hours, materials, and progress, and report updates to management

  • Train and mentor crew members, fostering a culture of accountability and professionalism

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Foreman or Lead Carpenter in residential or light commercial framing

  • Strong understanding of framing methods, building codes, and safety procedures

  • Proven ability to manage schedules, crews, and project resources

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to read blueprints and operate standard construction tools and equipment

  • OSHA safety training preferred
