Fire Sprinkler Sales Representative 

New Construction | Future Branch Manager Track

Our client, a growing Fire Protection contractor, is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Sales Representative focused on New Construction projects with a long-term path into Branch Management leadership.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong Fire Sprinkler industry knowledge and relatable field experience who is looking to transition into a customer-facing leadership role.


Position Overview

The Fire Sprinkler Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with General Contractors, project teams, and customers within the commercial new construction market.

The ideal candidate understands Fire Sprinkler systems, jobsite operations, and the construction process from real-world experience and can effectively communicate with both field and office personnel.

This position offers a strong long-term growth path into Branch Management for the right individual.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain new construction Fire Sprinkler sales opportunities
  • Build relationships with General Contractors, owners, and construction partners
  • Attend job walks, project meetings, and customer visits
  • Support estimating, project turnover, and customer communication
  • Coordinate with operations, project managers, designers, and field teams
  • Help grow market presence and branch revenue
  • Assist in developing long-term customer partnerships
  • Support branch growth initiatives and future operational leadership

Qualifications

  • Prior Fire Sprinkler industry experience required
  • New Construction experience is a MUST
  • Prior relatable field experience strongly preferred:
    • Fire Sprinkler Fitter
    • Foreman
    • Service Technician
    • Project Manager
    • Estimator
    •  
  • Understanding of:
    • Commercial construction processes
    • Fire Sprinkler systems and applications
    • NFPA standards
    • Jobsite coordination and scheduling
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Leadership mentality with interest in long-term career advancement
  • Sales experience is a plus, but industry knowledge and personality are highly valued
