Responsibilities
- Market new and renewal commercial lines business.
- Prepare Accord Applications and proposals.
- Work with underwriters on obtaining and reviewing quotes.
- Service clients assigned by agency, which includes verifying issued policies versus applications and proposals, request and process endorsements, issue binders, invoicing, issue certificates, taking claims, and handle any other needs of clients that may arise.
- Work with clients to deliver risk management strategies that fit their risk profiles.
- Maintain management systems for database of recordkeeping.
- Constantly update job knowledge and learn about new products and services.
Requirements
- Property & Casualty License REQUIRED
- Proven work experience as an Insurance Agent or Insurance Customer Service Representative.
- Familiar with Commercial and / or Personal Lines Insurance
- Computer knowledge.
- Proven ability to work with goals.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and educate clients effectively.
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and in creating long-lasting relationships.
- High school Diploma or equivalent required.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook experience.
- AMS 360 familiarity (not required)
