A well-established litigation firm in California is looking to add an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to its growing team. This is a strong opportunity for an attorney who enjoys handling general liability matters and wants to work in a collaborative environment with experienced litigators.
The firm has a steady pipeline of work, strong support staff, and a team-oriented culture where attorneys are trusted to manage their cases while working closely with partners and colleagues.
Responsibilities
• Handle insurance defense matters from early case evaluation through resolution
• Manage general liability cases including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and client communication
• Work closely with partners and litigation team on case strategy
• Participate in mediations, settlement discussions, and court appearances
Qualifications
• 5+ years of insurance defense litigation experience
• Background handling general liability matters
• Strong writing, research, and case management skills
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar
• Trial experience is a plus
