Job Description

We are working with an awesome client who is seeking a skilled and dependable Welder to join thier equipment dealership team. This role is responsible for performing high-quality welding and fabrication work on a variety of agricultural, construction, and heavy equipment to support both customer repairs and internal shop needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on steel and other metals

  • Repair and reinforce heavy equipment components, attachments, and structural frames

  • Fabricate custom parts and modifications based on shop or customer specifications

  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders

  • Operate cutting torches, plasma cutters, grinders, and other fabrication tools

  • Inspect completed welds to ensure structural integrity and safety standards

  • Work closely with service technicians and parts department to complete repairs efficiently

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of welding and fabrication experience (heavy equipment or ag equipment preferred)

  • Strong understanding of welding techniques and metal properties

  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings

  • Experience working with heavy steel components

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a shop environment

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in an equipment dealership, ag, or heavy construction environment

  • Basic mechanical knowledge

  • Welding certifications are a plus
