We are working with an awesome client who is seeking a skilled and dependable Welder to join thier equipment dealership team. This role is responsible for performing high-quality welding and fabrication work on a variety of agricultural, construction, and heavy equipment to support both customer repairs and internal shop needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on steel and other metals
Repair and reinforce heavy equipment components, attachments, and structural frames
Fabricate custom parts and modifications based on shop or customer specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders
Operate cutting torches, plasma cutters, grinders, and other fabrication tools
Inspect completed welds to ensure structural integrity and safety standards
Work closely with service technicians and parts department to complete repairs efficiently
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
2+ years of welding and fabrication experience (heavy equipment or ag equipment preferred)
Strong understanding of welding techniques and metal properties
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Experience working with heavy steel components
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a shop environment
Preferred Experience:
Experience in an equipment dealership, ag, or heavy construction environment
Basic mechanical knowledge
Welding certifications are a plus
