A well-established law firm in Richmond, VA is seeking an experienced Transportation & Tort Defense Attorney to join its litigation team. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with a background in civil litigation, trucking and transportation defense, or general liability matters.
Handle transportation, trucking, personal injury, and general tort defense litigation.
Manage cases from initial investigation through discovery, settlement, and trial preparation.
Draft pleadings, motions, and legal briefs; conduct depositions and attend hearings.
Represent businesses, transportation companies, and insurance carriers in complex litigation matters.
Active Virginia Bar admission required.
3+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably in transportation, trucking, insurance defense, or tort litigation.
Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.
Ability to independently manage cases and work collaboratively with a litigation team.
$110,000–$180,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
