Legal Assistant – Personal Injury, Bad Faith & Insurance Coverage

A recognized plaintiff-side law firm concentrating exclusively on insurance coverage, personal injury, and bad faith disputes is seeking an experienced paralegal to join our team. 

We are currently seeking a paralegal with 4+ years of experience in personal injury, bad faith, and insurance coverage litigation. While plaintiff-side experience is preferred, it is not required for the right candidate who demonstrates initiative, professionalism, and a strong understanding of litigation workflow.

A strong and stable work history is required, with no more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years. Preference will be given to candidates who have held 4+ years of tenure at multiple prior roles.

🔹 Responsibilities:

• Draft, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence related to personal injury, bad faith, and insurance coverage litigation
• E-file court documents in both state and federal courts
• Manage case calendars, track deadlines, and coordinate hearings, mediations, and depositions
• Maintain organized case files and assist with discovery responses and document management
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, and court staff
• Provide litigation and trial prep support to attorneys in high-stakes insurance coverage and bad faith matters

🔹 Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Legal Assistant in a law firm handling personal injury, bad faith, or insurance coverage disputes, with solid work history in the last 10 years.
• Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, legal calendaring tools, and document management systems
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• A team player who takes initiative and thrives under pressure
