A well-established and growing law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate with 2–3 years of experience to join its dynamic litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of complex business disputes while working alongside experienced litigators.

About the Role: This position focuses almost exclusively on business and commercial litigation, offering exposure to a broad spectrum of matters. Associates will be involved in all phases of litigation and will play a meaningful role in case strategy, client interaction, and courtroom advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all aspects of commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
  • Conduct legal research and case analysis
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, and trial preparation
  • Collaborate with partners on litigation strategy and client counseling

Types of Matters Include:

  • Breach of contract disputes
  • Shareholder and partnership disputes
  • Real estate litigation
  • Employment-related disputes (including non-competes and restrictive covenants)
  • Intellectual property conflicts
  • Unfair business practices and antitrust matters
  • Insurance coverage and claims disputes

Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of commercial or civil litigation experience
  • Strong legal writing and analytical skills
  • Experience handling multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Licensed and in good standing in [State] (or ability to become licensed)
