We are seeking a Feed Sales Specialist with a strong background in dairy cattle to join our team. This role is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with dairy producers, providing nutritional solutions, and driving feed sales within an assigned territory. The ideal candidate combines hands-on dairy experience with a consultative, customer-focused sales approach.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage relationships with dairy producers, nutritionists, and industry partners
Promote and sell feed products and nutritional programs tailored to dairy operations
Provide on-farm support, product recommendations, and performance follow-up
Identify customer needs and deliver customized feeding strategies to improve herd health and productivity
Grow sales within the territory through prospecting and account management
Maintain accurate sales records and activity reporting
Stay current on dairy nutrition trends, products, and industry best practices
Qualifications
Background in dairy cows required (hands-on farm experience, nutrition, or related role)
Prior feed sales or ag-related sales experience preferred
Strong understanding of dairy nutrition, herd management, and production goals
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the territory
